In White County court Monday, 28 year old Ricky Rush learned his sentence. Rush was convicted of a class 2 felony for
unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. He’ll spend the next 7 years behind bars, followed by 2 years of parole. Rush will also be responsible for court costs. The Grayville Police Department arrested Rush in late March while he was out on parole and found him to be in possession of a weapon. In proceedings, the state would later dismiss aggravated battery and criminal damage to property charges in return for the guilty plea. He’s credited with 117 days of time served.
