A Marion man was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Carmi.
49 year old Michael Mauk was travelling east on Highway 1 near Walmart on August 1 when he attempted to pass a tractor trailer. Mauk attempted to pass the truck on the left, but struck a concrete median and road sign on his 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
White County EMS transported Mauk to Deaconess Hospital.
