Mike Carpenter, WVC Athletic Director, has announced that the Wabash Valley College Athletic Department received “good news” from the NJCAA on Monday, with 20 Warrior/Lady Warrior Student-Athletes being named “NJCAA Academic All-American.”
The Warrior Baseball Team had a record 11 student-athletes on the team, while Softball player Emma Robinson was the sole 1st Team Academic All-American. Men’s Basketball had their 3rd consecutive Academic All-American, with Tanner McFall making the list, while Alexis Thomas from the Women’s Basketball Team was also named Academic All-American.
The Warrior Athletic Department as a whole had an incredible 3.17 GPA for the 2017-18 school year.
