McLeansboro man jailed in Evansville after three state police chase

A McLeansboro man and a Raleigh woman are in custody in Evansville after leading police on a chase that started in Pope County.

Authorities say that 47 year old Michael Kennedy is facing multiple charges after refusing to stop after an accident around 7 pm Monday.  Kennedy led law enforcement on a pursuit that took them through Gallatin, Saline, Hardin, and Pope Counties in Illinois, Union and Webster Counties in Kentucky, through Henderson and into Evansville.  The pursuit ended when Kennedy’s truck crashed into a ditch and he and 48 year old Sharmin Partridge of Raleigh were arrested by Evansville Police.

Kennedy is being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail.  He has been charged with resisting law enforcement and reckless driving.
