The Southeastern Illinois College White County Center, located at 1700 College Avenue in Carmi, will be offering Summer Kids Classes in June and July. The following programs will be offered:
Kids Science! Making a Circuit for 1st—6th Grade – June 4, 9-10am (CE03 061X)
Electricity does work when it moves in complete circuits. Join Amber Ochs for this activity as she shows you how to build a simple one.

Kids Science! Secret Message with Lemon Juice for 1st– 6th Grade – June 6, 9-10am (CE03 061X2)
Lemon juice can spark up a salad, add zing to some grilled fish, and keep your avocados and bananas from turning brown. Strangely, however, it turns paper brown and reveals secret messages you’ve written using plain old lemon juice. Learn from Amber Ochs how you can be a gourmet cook and a spy at the same time.
