Citizens National Bank of Albion announced the addition of two new members to their board of directors. Dr. Lawrence Speir and Davis Messman have been named to the board by CNB last week.
Speir lives in Albion with wife, Holly and his son, Sam. He graduated from Edwards County High School in 1992. In 1996, Lawrence graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from University of Illinois. He worked in the banking industry as a Relationship Banker for 3 years and graduated Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic with a Bachelor Degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003. Dr. Speir has owned and operated Speir Chiropractic in Albion for 14 years. He currently, serves on the Edwards County Community Unit School District #1 School Board and the Albion Medical Board. He is a member of Little Prairie Christian Church in Albion.
Speir is dedicated to our communities, its schools and enjoys attending any sporting event, (especially Edwards County Lions) vacationing at the ocean, and spending time with family and friends.

Messman is a native of Edwards County. He graduated from Edwards County High School in 1980.
Messman attended Eastern Illinois University in 1984 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He worked in oilfield services from 1984 to 1994. He then began managing his family farm operations.
Currently, Davis serves as a Edwards County Commissioner. He’s married to Dawn (Baldwin) Messman. Davis and Dawn have two children Riley and Rayce.
Messman serves on the Albion Medical Board. He is a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church and serves on the Parish Council Board. Besides service to his church and community, Davis also enjoys hunting, golfing and his family.
