Be prepared to be amazed as Wabash Valley College Student Senate, Mt. Carmel Public Utility Company, and First National Bank of Allendale, Mt. Carmel, & West Salem welcome “Harris “the Third,” an award-winning illusionist, to the WVC Brubeck Arts Center stage. One of America’s most respected storytellers and speakers is coming to WVC Wednesday, April 25 at 7 p.m.
“Harris “the Third” will dazzle the audience by creating moments that lead to the discovery of #Real Magic, by helping audiences of all ages identify the lies and deception that they have been tricked into believing. More than a magician, this master of misdirection knows how to attract an audience and hold its attention. From spot-lit stages all over the world, to the exclusive, members-only club of Manhattan’s Soho House, Harris’ illusions have captivated spectators in an unusually wide variety of live venues, films, and television appearances.
His knack for communicating “the evidence of things unseen,” and the importance of never losing our sense of “child-like wonder” often opens the eyes of his audience more than his visual performance.
He has graced stages at some of the largest events and conferences in the country, performing for teenagers at BigStuf camps, offering hope to young girls on the Revolve Tour, to sharing truth with married couples at Lifeway Marriage Conferences and Retreats. He’s captivated an audience by creating unexpected arena-sized experiences for Women of Faith, and three separate appearances on the main stage at the Catalyst Conference. Catalyst went on to add Harris to their prestigious and highly-respected Young Influencers List, naming him one of America’s most influential young people.
Tickets to the show are $10 for adults, $5 for WVC students (with student ID) and for those 12 years of age and younger. Tickets can be reserved by calling the WVC Business Office at (618) 262-8641.
