White County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Annual Meeting will be held Friday, February 9, at the Floral Hall of the fairgrounds. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. A free pork loin dinner will be served at 5:30. A short business meeting will follow. Three Directors will be elected, and awards will be presented to winners of the District’s annual Poster Contest and to the Conservation Farmer of the Year. Numerous door prizes donated by area businesses will be given away.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the SWCD Annual Meeting Friday evening, February 9, at the Floral Hall of the White County fairgrounds. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. The SWCD’s Annual Meeting will be held as scheduled, even if our federal government partners shutdown and the USDA Service Center closes Friday.
