White County Sheriff’s Department make two arrests over weekend

Friday morning, White County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 45 year old Shannon Woodrow of Springerton on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear. Woodrow was taken into custody at her residence at 11:21 am and transported to the White County Jail.  She was later released after posting a $150 bond.

 

Friday night, the Sheriff’s Department responded to a report that a power line had been struck on Hamill Street in Crossville at about 8 pm.  Robert Puntney reported a semi had struck the line, which had sagged due to the ice and snow.  Ameren Illinois came and disconnected the line, and deputies spoke to the driver, Robert Mullins of Crossville about the incident.  The matter will be settled by insurance.

 

Sunday morning, White County Dispatch received a call about domestic incident in Crossville.  As deputies made their way to the location, they pulled over the suspect, 28 year old Johnny Gwaltney of Enfield, and arrested him for driving on a revoked license.  Gwaltney was transported to the White County Jail and was later released after posting a $150 bond.
