Katherine Bunting-Williams, Ph.D., Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, has been elected to the Illinois Health and Hospital Association’s (IHA) 2018 Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is the policymaking body for the Association, which represents more than 200 hospitals and nearly 50 health systems across Illinois. Dr. Bunting-Williams will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2018.
Katherine Bunting-Williams, PhD, has been with Fairfield Memorial Hospital since 1998 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer for 19 years. She is known in healthcare leadership within the state of Illinois, as she has served and is serving in many healthcare leadership positions including: Illinois Hospital Association (IHA) Region 5 Past-President, IHA Small and Rural Hospital Steering Committee Member (2001-Present), IHA Small and Rural Hospital Steering Committee Chairwoman, Illinois Rural Health Association (Past Executive Board Member), Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (Member), is a member of The American College of Healthcare Executives, and is now beginning her term on the IHA Board of Trustees.
