Two Carmi women were arrested early Wednesday morning after Carmi Police executed a search warrant at a home at 800 Smith Street.
33 year old Sarah Brown was taken into custody at 1:32 am on charges of unlawful use of weapons by a felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and received citations for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was 18 year old Shauna Buckman of Carmi. Buckman was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Brown and Buckman were transported to the White County Jail, where they are both being held without bond pending a court hearing.
