A Grayville man led White County Sheriff’s Department officers on a high speed chase Monday and eluded capture.
According to Sheriff Doug Maier, 50 year old John Eagleson was spotted driving a white pickup with red striping after being tipped off to his location. Maier and Deputy Randy Graves attempted to apprehend Eagleson, but the suspect was able to lose his pursuers after going down several county roads.
A Grayville Police officer later observed Eagleson’s vehicle, but was also unable to apprehend him due to high speeds. Eagleson is wanted on a White County warrant, and anyone with information on his location is urged to contact local law enforcement.
