The following individuals were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
11/01/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 24 year old Billy J. Dill of Mt. Carmel. Police located Dill in the area of 9th and Parrish Street and knew he was wanted on a Wabash County violation of probation warrant. Dill was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of $1000.00 cash.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 41 year old Matthew L. Majors of Mt. Carmel after police were called to the 900 block of W. 5th Street reference a possible battery. When officers arrived on scene a female advised she was in an argument and wanted to leave her residence. Majors is accused of interfering with the police investigation and was subsequently arrested for obstructing a peace officer. Majors was transferred to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $150.00 cash. MCPD Officer’s were assisted by the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office.
11/02/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 42 year old Robert A . Bull of Mt. Carmel after police were called the VFW in reference to a male subject smoking cannabis. Police located Bull in the VFW’s smoking area and found him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Bull was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
