The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
10/27/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested Bradley J. Berberich, age 32, of Albion after MCPD Officer’s conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of W. 9th Street. During the stop MCPD K-9 Ace gave an alert of narcotics in the vehicle. The arresting officer located suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle along with cannabis. Berberich was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Berberich was cited for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Berberich is being held pending the posting of bond.
10/28/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 38 year old Alfredo P. Rodriguez of Indianapolis, Indiana for suspicion of DUI after he was stopped for a traffic violation. It was reported that Rodriguez failed field sobriety testing. Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for DUI and improper lane usage. Rodriguez was held pending the posting of $300.00 cash bond.
