Once again this Veteran’s Day, area Veterans and Service Personnel can have their vehicles washed, for free, at Lucas Oil Center on North Green River Road through the Grace for Vets program.
Grace for Vets is a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor those who have or are currently serving their county by providing free car washes to all service personnel. This is the fourth consecutive year that Lucas Oil Center in Evansville is partnering with Grace for Vets to bring this program to local Veterans and Service Personnel.
“It just brings us joy to give back a little to those that have given so much to their country, knowing the sacrifices they have made,” states Brenda Floyd, co-owner of Lucas Oil Center in Evansville. “Brenda was informed of this program at an industry trade show a few years back,” states Bill Floyd co-owner. “I agreed, absolutely it’s something we should get behind and feel this is the least we can do to thank them on this day that honors our Veteran’s and service members.”
Area Veterans and Service Members will receive one free “Express Works” car wash November 11th from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. with a valid Veterans Administration or Military ID.
