In Edwards County Court Tuesday, 40 year old Donald Sims of Fairfield was sentenced to six years in prison on one count of burglary according to States Attorney Eric St. Ledger.
Sims will be under mandatory supervised release for two years following incarceration, and was ordered to pay the costs of the proceedings by Judge William Hudson. Sims was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle.
Sims is set to be resentenced in Wayne County Court on Thursday.
