The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in obtaining, information regarding an attempted robbery that occurred on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at approximately 10:20 p.m. at the Dollar General Store in Galatia, Illinois.
A white male approached two employees and demanded money. The male was armed with a small sized gun that had a silver top and black handle. The male fled the store on foot, when an audible alarm was activated.
The suspect is described as a white male, middle to late 20’s, approximately 5’10 blonde hair, blue green eyes with facial hair on his chin. The male was wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark colored jeans.
