Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors employees monthly for providing exceptional patient care and customer service internally and externally.

In September, Angelina Batteese, Clinic Informatics Coordinator, was named Employee of the Month. Angelina has been with Fairfield Memorial Hospital for the past year and a half. She has a true commitment to her job and goes above and beyond on a regular basis. She is the in process of enhancing her Information Systems knowledge and skills and often takes on call coverage on weekends, as needed, to assist her department director in his absence. In addition, due to her knowledge of health information, she has been part of the team to train new employees. Her peers see Angelina as someone who accepts each challenge with a great attitude and smile, and always provides quality of care to patients and staff that FMH proudly supports.
“Upon joining Fairfield Memorial Hospital Angelina has had some big shoes to fill, but she has been able to shine in her role. She has applied what she knew from her previous job working with NextGen and has grown exponentially along with picking up new skills. She has stepped up and taken on many difficult tasks in the Information Systems department and even continues to help out in Health Information along the way. I am grateful to have Angelina on my team to navigate some of the most difficult challenges,” stated Brad August, FMH Director of Information Systems.
