Carmi-White County High School boys and girls were at home on Thursday facing the Wolves of Flora. The Bulldogs were defeated by Flora earlier in the year. Both squads showed tenacity and came together as a team to post some great scores. The boys were lead by Ty Barbre with a season best 34. This was good enough for medalist on the day. The top four scores were rounded out by KaCee Fulkerson with a 39, Kaden Carter a 43, and Alex O’Daniel carded a 44. Total team score was a season best 160. The Wolves came up short with a 173.
The girls won by default since Flora only had one girl. Allie Gee was medalist with a 48 followed by Lily Redman 51, Issie Bryant 53, and Madison Wilson 64. The Lady Bulldogs ended with a team score of 216.
The boys are on the road next week as they travel to Hardin County on Tuesday and the girls take a trip to Marion. They finish with Eldorado at home on Wednesday and travel to Harrisburg on Friday.
