Jayden Brown is the recipient of the prestigious Presidential Scholarship for the 2017-18 academic year at Wabash Valley College.
Jayden, the son of Stan and Janice Brown of Cisne, IL, is a graduate of Cisne High School. Jayden was a member of FFA for 4 years, Scholar Bowl for 4 years, Baseball for 3 years, and received High Honors for 4 years. His future career goal is attain a degree in Agricultural Engineering. After WVC, he plans to transfer to the University of Illinois.
This prestigious award is based on predicted performance which includes high school grade point average, composite of ACT score, and rank in class. The award of $1200 per semester helps provide assistance with tuition costs for fall and spring semesters at Wabash Valley College for one year as long as the student remains enrolled full time. Selection is made by the Wabash Valley College Foundation Scholarship Committee.
