Carmi Police were dispatched to a domestic dispute at 9:32 pm Wednesday at a residence on 1st Street and took two people into custody.
38 year old James Cartmill was arrested on charges of violating an order of protection and domestic battery. He is being held at the White County Jail without bond pending a court hearing.
36 year old Rebecca Cartmill was also arrested for violating an order of protection, and was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. She is also being held at the White County Jail without bond pending a court hearing.
