Campout with Camo the Clown at Rend Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake will be hosting Camo the Clown on July 15th, 2017 at the Rend Lake Visitor Center from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Clown around with Camo, Southern Illinois’ favorite conservation clown, as he inspires the audience to explore the wonders of nature with the “Outdoor Adventure Show”! The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. as he entertains with colorful stories, props, wild theatrics, and even live animals! Not only does Camo the Clown educate and entertain, but he also involves the audience in his program. So join Rend Lake Park Rangers and Camo the Clown at the Rend Lake Visitor Center to be inspired by the great outdoors! Camo will be presenting “The Outdoor Adventure Show” on July 15th, 2017 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Rend Lake Visitor Center.

The following Saturday, July 22nd at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Bev Shofstall of Free Again Wildlife Rehabilitation will be presenting “All About Owls,” a program dedicated to our native owl species, their uniqueness, and their importance in Illinois’ ecosystems. “All About Owls” will feature live rehabilitated owls, so don’t miss the opportunity to see these amazing creatures up close and personal.
