Hamilton Memorial Carmi Family Clinic is pleased to welcome Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Diana Mugge Vaughn. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN and continued there to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner.
A native of Norris City, Diana has over 18 years of nursing experience in the Southeastern Illinois and Southwestern Indiana regions. Prior to signing with Hamilton Memorial Carmi Family Clinic, Diana was employed as an Emergency Room Nurse at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL for over 7 years.
At the Carmi Family Clinic, Diana’s practice will include a full range of family medicine such as well child visits, well women visits, laceration treatment, and minor procedures. Diana will begin seeing patients July 3rd and her office hours will be Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
“Our Carmi Family Clinic has continued to grow exponentially. A suggestion by many patients was to hire another provider to decrease waiting times. We want our patients to know we appreciate their feedback and take it seriously. It is a goal to turn suggestions into a reality, and that is just what we did,” says CEO Greg Sims.
Diana will be joining Carmi Family Clinic Nurse Practitioners, Wes Henson and Kathy Taylor. Extended hours run Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm. Weekend Clinic hours run Saturday 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday 2 pm to 5 pm.
