Carmi Police received an anonymous tip on Monday that led to the arrest of a Kentucky man who was the subject of a manhunt on June 13th.
30 year old Daniel Carlisle of Hartford, Kentucky was taken into custody at 7:17 pm after officers were alerted to his location at a residence on 7th Street. Carlisle was wanted on a warrant out of Ohio County, KY and was charged with the possession and delivery of a look a like substance in White County. Carlisle is currently being held at the White County Jail without bond pending a court hearing.
Earlier Monday, 30 year old Joshua McDowell of Lawrenceville was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop. McDowell was stopped at Bradford Supply at 7:18 am and was taken into custody on a Richland County warrant. McDowell was also charged with driving on a suspended license, displaying an expired registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. McDowell was transported to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a combined bond of $400.
