MCPD arrest report 6/2 – 6/3

The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

06/02/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 36 year old Timothy L. McKinney of Mt. Carmel after police were called to the Jumpin Jimmy’s Convenience Store early Friday morning.  Police were told that a male subject was inside of the gas station threatening customers.  When police arrived on scene the located McKinney at the register and it was reported that he appeared agitated.  McKinney then attacked the two responding officers inside of the store.  After a brief struggle McKinney ran from the store but was shortly captured.  McKinney was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and resisting a peace officer.  McKinney is being held in the Wabash County Jail pending the setting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 60 year old David M. Russell of Mt. Carmel after police responded to 1149 W. 3rd Street reference an order of protection violation.  Police were told that Russell called a protected person listed on the order of  protection.  Police were able to listen to a voice mail left by the suspect.  Police located Russell and placed him under arrest.  Russell was arrested and charged with violation of a no contact order.  Russell was held pending the posting of bond.

06/03/2017-Police arrested Amanda E. Foreman, age 33, of Vincennes after she was observed in the 1000 block of Poplar Street.  The arresting officer knew Foreman was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant.  Police were able to take Foreman into custody and transfer her to the Wabash County Jail.  Foreman was held pending the posting of $300.00 cash bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 23 year old Erin E. Adams of Mt. Carmel after police stopped her for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop it was discovered the registration belonging to the 2001 Buick was revoked.  Adams was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of $150.00 cash bond. Adams was cited for operating a vehicle when the registration is revoked.
