05/23/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 19 year old Jordan R. Monts of Mt. Carmel after they received a complaint of Monts damaging property belonging to the City of Mt. Carmel. Monts is accused of driving off the roadway along the Wabash River causing damage to the property. Monts was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property, unlawful display of registration on a vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Monts was held at the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.
05/24/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 32 year old Stephen J. Whitney of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped by police. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Whitney was operating a motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. Whitney was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while license is suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Whitney was held pending the posting of bond.
05/25/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 43 year old Samantha G. Cessna of Bridgeport after she was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop police located suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Cessna was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting a peace officer. Cessna was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 36 year old Patricia L. Windle of Mt. Carmel on an Edwards County failure to appear warrant. Windle was located in the 400 block of W. 6th Street and placed into custody. Windle was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Zachary R. Donovan of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County warrant. Police located Donovan in the 1500 block of W. 3rd Street and placed into custody. Donovan was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.
