The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
05/08/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 72 year old Claudie M. Grubbs of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Grubbs was operating the motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. Police arrested Grubbs and transported him to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with disobeying a traffic control device and driving while suspended. Grubb was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 24 year old Coy D. Greene of Lawrenceville after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop it was discovered that Greene was operating a motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. Green was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with driving while suspended. Greene was held pending the posting of bond.
05/09/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 41 year old Davis A. Wesley of Idabel, Oklahoma after police were possible domestic at 1515 W. 3rd Street. The arresting officer reported that Wesley grabbed the victim by the hair and was dragging her around the hotel bedroom. The arresting officer advised that the victim had a bump on her head that the suspect allegedly caused. Wesley was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with domestic battery and he is being held pending a bond hearing.
