The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
05/03/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 29 year old Carl P. Pierce of Mt. Carmel after he was accused of violating an order of protection. When police went to arrest Pierce he ran from the officers. Police were able to catch up with Pierce and place him under arrest. Pierce was charged with violation of an order of protection and resisting a peace officer. Pierce is being held pending the posting of bond.
05/04/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 57 year old Jeffery K. Dill of Mt. Carmel after he was spotted at 9th and Market Street in Mt. Carmel. Dill was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Dill was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 44 year old Donald L. Barnett of Mt. Carmel after police saw him in the 200 block of W. 12th Street. The arresting officer knew Barnett was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Barnett was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he posted $300.00 cash bond.
