MT. VERNON, Ill. (May 2, 2017) – It may be hard to find a parking spot at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace this Friday as the Kingsmen Auto Club of Mt. Vernon kicks off the 8th Annual Cruise Night. The events are held on the first Friday of every month now through October at the RLC MarketPlace on Potomac Boulevard.
Each month, locals and car enthusiasts are invited to the MarketPlace from 6 – 9 p.m. to check out unique and classic automobiles from across Southern Illinois. The free, family-friendly event will offer public refreshments and music.
Attendees can also take advantage of discounts at various RLC MarketPlace retailers, including the RLC Golf Outlet, Studio RLC, Helen’s Coffee Shop, Lone Star Steakhouse, and Shoe Stop. Cruise Night car owners will be entered into a drawing for gift cards to the RLC Golf Outlet, Lone Star Steakhouse, or Shoe Stop every month.
