The 25th Annual Carmi Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Carmi Country Club.
The tournament will be a four-person, best-ball scramble. There will be a “shotgun” start, with the morning session starting at 8 a.m. and the afternoon session starting at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to each golfer on the top three teams. Prizes will also be awarded for longest drive (men’s, women’s and senior’s), longest putt and closest to pin. We will also have a Hole in One Prize.
A complimentary lunch for golfers will be served from noon to 1 p.m. The cost to participate is $50 per player. This includes your green fees, cart, lunch and beverages. The deadline to sign up as a player is June 16.
We are asking for all sponsorship notifications by May 8 if you wish to take full advantage of the printed promotions.
With the success of past tournaments, we are continuing to award a graduating CWCHS senior a scholarship each year. We have also been able to provide competitive classroom grants, with plans to award $2400 in 2017, to teachers in the Carmi White County School District to help with the purchase of needed course materials and supplies.
We are also investors in the White County CEO Program. In order to maintain this level of financial assistance to our young people, we need your help.
