The Bluford Unit School District #318 Grade School Booster Club is hosting its annual Carnival on Friday, April 21 from 5 pm – 8 pm at the school. Billy Bob’s BBQ will be onsite selling BBQ, Nachos and more with a portion of the proceeds going back to the Booster Club. There will be a 50/50 drawing, cake walk, inflatables, silent auction, the ever popular basket bingo and new this year: a cake decorating contest with the cakes being auctioned off after the awards!
This week, BUSD students are collecting change to decide which administrator will “Kiss a Pig”. Superintendents Rod Stover & John Ashby, Principal Kevin Westall and Head Teacher Nicole Henson are in the running for the “honor” of kissing the pig.
