White County CEO Facilitator Tracy Orr noted it has been a successful first year “because of the business community in our county.”  She then asked each student in attendance to talk about their business.  The Club heard from Maggiann Ackerman, Redheaded Reflections; Gracilou Ackerman, Fiercely Written; Lex’Cee Breen, Southern Bath Company; Abigail Bryant, Abbie’s Eye; Ashtyn Cowling, Passion and Purpose; Allison Cozart, Bone Appetite and Madison Roberson, Lights, Camera, Glamour Dress Up Party Designs.  Facilitator Orr noted that three students were unable to be in attendance including Julia Kemper, Swaddled in Love; EmmaLee Pruitt, Sew Blessed and Brenna Williams, Stuck on You.

Several students noted that their favorite part of the program was having a mentor from the business community.  In addition, Roberson noted she had learned the importance “of shopping local and giving back to the community.”

The students invited the Club, as well as the public, to attend their Trade Show on April 27 from 5-7pm at Rice Motor Company in Carmi.
