Officials with the Illinois State Police announce that the investigation into the death of Saline County State’s Attorney Michael Henshaw has been concluded.
On March 22, 2017, at approximately 10:30 p.m. the ISP was contacted by Chief David Morris to investigate the death of Mr. Henshaw. The investigation found that Mr. Henshaw was found deceased on the stairs in his home. An autopsy revealed that Mr. Henshaw died as a result of a cervical spine fracture from an accidental fall down the steps. The ISP does not believe any foul play is involved, and the investigation into Mr. Henshaw’s death has been closed.
