The White County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a stolen trailer on Wednesday afternoon. Milton York came to the Sheriff’s office to report that on Saturday, someone took a homemade trailer from his property outside Enfield. York told deputies that he had checked that someone had not borrowed it.
Wednesday evening, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about a sword that was found laying in a yard in Crossville.
Rick Kuykendall reported finding a large sword at the intersection of Hammill and Winkler Streets and turned it over to the responding officer. The sword is currently at the Sheriff’s Office, and Sheriff Maier says the owner can pick it up if they can give a detailed description.
