Carmi Police make three arrests Tuesday

Carmi Police arrested 21 year old Dalton Miller of Carmi on White and Edwards County warrants after Miller surrendered in the lobby of the Police Department Tuesday afternoon.  Miller was charged with violating an order of protection in White County, and obstructing justice and resisting a police officer in Edwards County.

Miller was taken into custody at 4:45 pm and transferred to the White County Jail.  He was later released after posting a total bond amount of $3000.

35 year old Shalonda Sinder of McLeansboro was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop at the intersection of Oak Street and Industrial Drive Tuesday night.

Sinder was taken into custody at 6:15 pm on charges of driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  She was transported to the White County Jail and released after posting a $150 bond.

23 year old Joseph Buckman of Carmi surrendered at the Carmi Police Department Tuesday night on a White County warrant for theft of mislaid property at 9:52 pm.

Buckman was later released from the White County Jail after posting a $150 bond.
