Nancy Mitchell of the White County Democrats is pictured here presenting a check from the local political organization to Jack Bradshaw, representing the Cherry Street Baptist Church Food Pantry. The White County Democrats donated a total of $100 to local food pantries.
Money was raised by selling tickets for POW/MIA Corn Hole Boards that were raffled . The Democrats will hold their next meeting at 6:30pm, this Thursday, February 16th at the White County Courthouse.
Other pantries receiving donations include the Enfield Christian Church and Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carmi.
