Carmi Police arrested 32 year old Keri Tarrants of Carmi early Saturday morning for driving without a valid driver’s license. Tarrants was taken into custody at 12:17 am following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Oak Street. She was transported to the White County Jail, and later released after posting a $150 bond.
Saturday evening, Carmi officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Burrell Street, and arrested 49 year old Aaron Pearson on a charge of domestic battery. Pearson was taken into custody at 5:50 pm and is being held without bond at the White County Jail pending a court hearing.
