The White County 4-H Cloverbud program kicked off this past Thursday, February 2. Eleven members were present. New leader, Keesha Allen, had lessons on reduce, reuse, and recycle. Members sorted items into recycling groups and made bird feeders out of birdseed, peanut butter, and pinecones. If you were unable to attend the first meeting, do not worry, you can come to the next meeting February 16 at 3:30 at the University of Illinois Extension office in Carmi. To enroll, a Cloverbud must be 5 to 7 years old by September 1, 2016, with a $10.00 enrollment fee.
4-H is currently taking new members, so if anyone is interested in joining a club, call the Extension office at 618-382-2662 or attend the next club meeting of your choice!
