Carmi Police arrested 20 year old Joshua Farris at his 9th Street residence Wednesday after receiving a call about a domestic violence incident. Farris was taken into custody at 5:29 pm on charges of aggravated domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was transported to the White County Jail and is being held without bail pending a court hearing.
