Two convicted in White County Court Monday

In White County Court on Monday, 25 year old Jessica A Bratcher of Grayville entered an open plea of guilty to a class 3 charge of theft according to White County States Attorney Denton Aud.  Bratcher was arrested by the White County Sheriff’s Department in November after she was found to be in possession of jewelry from the Hank and Donna Matz home that was stolen in August.  Bratcher will be sentenced in February in the courtroom of Judge Thomas Dinn.  Bratcher is being represented by Jay Walden.

The man convicted of the Matz burglary earlier this month, 42 year old Mark S Keller, was back in court Monday as well, and entered a plea of guilty to a class 2 charge of burglary after an investigation by the Carmi Police Department was conducted in August.  According to Aud, Keller was sentenced to 14 years in prison that will run concurrent to his earlier 17 year sentence.  He was also ordered to pay court costs and to make restitution to his victim.
