Each year Wabash Christian Retirement Center presents the Arthur L. Bohleber award at the annual employee Christmas party which was held on December 13th. Mr. Bohleber was one of the original owners and also a resident. The award was started in 2002 in his memory to recognize an employee who demonstrates consistent commitment to residents, customers, and fellow employees. Each employee can vote for whom they feel deserves this award. Last year’s winner Angie Bolin said this when she presented the award: “The person selected this year is a very caring individual. She started out as a new nurse here and has blossomed into a wonderful nurse. She can always put on a smile no matter how stressful the situation. She cares and worries about her residents so much that it is not uncommon for her to call and check on them when she is not here. We are lucky to have her as a nurse. This year we have selected Rachel McWilliams.” Congratulations Rachel!
