The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
10/25/2016-Mt. Carmel Police executed an arrest warrant on Kyria J. Linson, age 33, of Mt. Carmel after police received information that she was at a residence located at 1401 W. 3rd Street, Lot #8. Police located Linson and placed her under arrest on a Wabash County warrant for driving while revoked. Linson was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $300.00 cash bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 35 year old Korin L. Crosetto of Princeton, Indiana after she was observed in the 1900 block of Cherry Street. The arresting officer knew Crosetto was wanted on a Williamson County warrant. Crosetto was arrested and held pending the posting of $375.00 cash bond.
10/26/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested a Ricky R. Kimmons, age 38, of Charleston, Illinois after he was stopped by police in the 400 block of N. Market Street. While police were talking to Kimmons it was discovered he was wanted on a Cumberland County warrant and placed under arrest. Kimmons was held at the Wabash County Jail pending the transfer to Cumberland County.
Mt. Carmel arrested 31 year old Jessica A. Apodaca of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of W. 2nd Street. During the traffic stop Wabash County K-9 Roy and Deputy J. Sullivan arrived on scene. K-9 Roy alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search was conducted and suspected narcotics were found in the vehicle. Apodaca was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Apodaca was held pending the posting of bond. A passenger in the vehicle, Sara S. Lofton, age 31 of Owensville was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 21 year old Breea S. Galiher of Mt. Carmel after she was observed in the parking lot of Burger King. Galiher was wanted on a Wabash County warrant for drug possession. Galiher was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of $2000.00 cash bond.
10/27/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Justin M. Bray of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped by police in the 300 block of W. 9th Street. The arresting officer knew Bray was wanted on a felony warrant out of Gibson County and conducted a traffic stop on Bray. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Bray was in possession of two smoking devices that are commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. Bray was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to have a firearm owner’s identification card when required. Bray was also served the Gibson County warrant. Bray is being held pending the posting bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 23 year old Brandon L. Reed of Mt. Carmel after he was observed near the 4th Street ball park. The arresting officer was on routine patrol and came across Reed with a group of friends. A record check indicated that Reed was wanted on a Richland County failure to appear warrant. Reed was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.
