Carmi Police officers responded to a call about a shooting victim at the Carmi Motel early Friday morning, but soon discovered that wasn’t the case.
At 12:13 am, a call was received that said 39 year old Brian Carlile of Adamsville, Tennessee had been shot four times. Officers arrived at the scene to find Carlile unharmed, but arrested him on a White County warrant for battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct.
Carlile was transported to the White County Jail, where he was processed and released after posting a $150 bond.
