The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
09/15/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 54 year old Lawrence C. Wells of Mt. Carmel after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Wells was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Wells was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 32 year old Austin T. Wiggins of Mt. Carmel after he was found in the area of 10th and Walnut Street. The arresting officer knew Wiggins was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Wiggins was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.
09/16/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 34 year old Carlos D. Thomason of E. St. Louis after he was stopped for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Thomason was driving suspended on a Missouri and Illinois driver’s license. Thomason was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he is being held pending the posting of bond.
