The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 09/07/2016, Mt. Carmel Police were called to 1230 N. Walnut Street in Mt. Carmel in reference to a wanted person being on the property. Police arrived on scene and located a Billy J. Dill, age 23, of Mt. Carmel hiding in an apartment. Dill was placed under arrested on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant and was charged with criminal trespass to state supported property. Dill was held in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.
On 09/08/2016, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Jordan C. Pixley, age 19, of Olney. Pixley was arrested after MCPD Officer’s were called to Wabash General Hospital reference a suspicious vehicle. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Pixley was wanted on a Lawrence County failure to appear warrant. Wabash County Sheriff K-9 Roy and Deputy Sullivan arrived on scene and located narcotics in the vehicle where Pixley had been sitting. Police then located suspected cannabis and a smoking device. Pixley was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and held on the Lawrence County warrant.
