Back by popular demand, the annual Car Show will again bring car and motorcycle enthusiasts together at the Fourth Annual Warrior Fest on Saturday, Oct. 8. The event will be held in the east parking lot on the Ina campus from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Participants can register at the Car Show from 9 a.m. – noon, with judging beginning at 11:30 a.m. A trophy presentation will wrap up the event at 2 p.m.
Awards for vehicle entrants include Best of Show, Best Ford, Best GM, Best Mopar, Best Street Rod, Best Paint, Best Motor, Best Rat Rod, Best Orphan, Best Truck, Best Sports Car, Top Five from 1995 and newer, Top 15 from 1975 to 1994, and Top 25 from 1974 and older.
Motorcycles are also welcome to register for five awards, including Top 10 Motorcycles, Best American Motorcycle, Best Asian Motorcycle, Best European Motorcycle, and Best Custom Motorcycle. There will also be a Club Participation Award.
Hot Rod Nights will emcee the event, and help with door prizes and a 50/50 drawing for event participants. Photos of each entry and owner will be taken by RLC between 10 a.m. and noon. Food and soft drinks will be available during Warrior Fest, which will also feature children’s activities at the RLC Foundation Children’s Center, a vendor and craft fair, a scholarship giveaway, and various events hosted by RLC clubs and organizations.
