Fairfield Memorial Hospital recently hosted a special luncheon to honor staff for their many years of service. Service Awards were given to those who have served as Fairfield Memorial Hospital Association employees for five, ten, fifteen, twenty, thirty, thirty-five, and forty years.
Serving FMH for five years are Kayla Bell, PA-C, Horizon Healthcare; Lisa Cochran, Laboratory Services; Lance Endsley, Pharmacy; Lucas Griswold, Maintenance; Lauren Griswold, Senior Life Solutions; Ann Ignas, Chief Nurse Executive; Lucas McDaniel, Quality Analyst; Amanda Miller, Med/Surg. Those serving for ten years include Sara Jane Bailey, Skilled Care Unit; Melinda Bunting, Diagnostic Imaging; Michael Crawford, Maintenance; Cory Hunt, Maintenance; Heather Kessel, Surgery; Vicki Lear, Horizon Healthcare; Erin Phillips, Skilled Care Unit; Kimberly Smith, Housekeeping. Those serving FMH for fifteen years are Jennifer Elliot, Business Office; Lisa Henson, Skilled Care Unit; Lisa Linder, Emergency Services; Jena Warthen, Admitting; Marilyn White, Housekeeping; Kristie Whitehead, Home Health. Those serving for twenty years are Lucina Eastep, Skilled Care Unit; Kindra Schnicker, Cardiopulmonary; and Janet Venters, Surgery. Robert Hale who works in the Laboratory, was recognized for serving FMH for thirty years, and Debra Anderson who works on the Skilled Care Unit was specially recognized for her continued dedication to the facility for thirty-five years. James Leon Fenton was given great applause for serving on the Med/Surg Unit of the hospital for forty years!
Katherine Bunting-Williams, Ph.D., FMH CEO, said, “Among these 28 employees there is a cumulative total of 375 years of service in our facility. Each of them show up to work with a true servant’s heart. These dedicated employees sacrifice so much to work in healthcare day in and day out for years and years and provide their best for this community, and their dedication does not go unrecognized. I believe we will see these same individuals and their smiling faces to be awarded again in another five years because of the culture we foster here at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. I am so thankful and proud to have such a hard working, dedicated, and skilled staff here at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.”
