With more than $57,000 in by the end of the evening and another $4,000 expected
according to event co-chair Patty Hodgson, it’s easy to call this year’s White County Relay for Life a resounding success. More than 30 survivors took part in the event along with 23 teams and more than 30 local sponsors.
This year’s goal was just $55,000. Tonya Hall, who is surviving her 4th bout with cancer won the Courage Award. Jack Baker of Jack Baker Photos covered the event in photos. Pictures should be available on his site in the coming days. The event began at 6pm and finished up at midnight.
