Two individuals were sentenced in White County Court on Wednesday according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
51 year old Stephanie Davis-Campbell received a two year term in Department of Corrections custody on a charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. In addition, she was convicted on a misdemeanor charge of DUI. Davis-Campbell will also be under one year of mandatory supervised release following incarceration. Davis-Campbell was arrested by the Carmi Police Department on April 12.
45 year old Lawrence Smith of Grayville had his probation revoked and was sentenced to five and a half years in prison on a charge of unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor. Smith will be under supervised release for a two year period following incarceration. The White County Sheriff’s Department handled the investigation leading to the conviction.
