26 year old Ashley Paul of Carmi was arrested by Carmi officers on a White County warrant for failure to appear. Paul was taken into custody at 6:11pm Monday following a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Locust Streets and transported to the White County Jail. Paul was later released after posting a $300 bond.
A traffic stop by the Carmi Police Department early Tuesday morning resulted with the arrest of two men on possession charges.
21 year old Jason Sigmund of Carmi and 20 year old Dwight Sigmund of Morganfield, KY were taken into custody at 1:20am following the stop on Jessup Street. Both were charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the White County Jail. Both men posted $150 bonds and were released.
